Bass Hotels and Resorts and Six Continents Hotels). For over four (4) years John lead all projects involving "guest impact" technology. If it had a CPU, and might impact the guest, John was involved.
Developer of the "Connected Hotel" concept, where all services in a hotel suite are delivered to the guest over a single infrastructure (first drawn in 1999), the convergence of technology, and it's impact on both the guest and the hotel business has been forefront.
The scope of John's experience with technology spans more than 25 years, from the TRS-80 computer and the 7 pound 'bag phone' cellular phone to the present world of 64 bit processing and 7 ounce PDA phones. Yet he's always seen the 'bigger picture'.
